(PT, DPT, CSCS, USAW (Certified Olympic Weightlifting Coach))
Wilfredo earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University after receiving his bachelor’s in Exercise Science. While he enjoys treating patients of all ages and conditions, Wilfredo has a special interest in treating sport-related conditions such as rotator cuff tears, ACL reconstructions, and ankle sprains. He has also treated physical therapy patients with various comorbidities such as COPD and congestive heart failure.
Wilfredo has been physically active his whole life and previously spent time as a personal trainer where he designed and implemented individualized fitness programs to help clients reach their health and fitness goals. Wilfredo loves the physical therapy profession because he is able to combine his passion for physical activity and human movement with the ultimate goal of helping people get better.
Wilfredo believes in treating patients with a holistic approach, knowing there may be multiple factors that lead to a smooth recovery. He understands that the rehab process is different for each patient and will always try to make it a positive therapy experience for everyone. He hopes to educate his patients to understand their bodies more and how to prevent future injuries while living an active and healthy lifestyle!
