Dr. Kelsey Stromberg
(PT, DPT (Running & Sports Rehab))
Kelsey Stromberg became interested in physical therapy after going through rehabilitation herself as a freshman in high school following a sports injury. Experiencing firsthand how PT helps people return to what they love inspired her to pursue the profession.
She earned her Bachelor of Health Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University through the university’s combined BS/DPT program. During her time at BU, she also worked as a physical therapy aide and research assistant at the Center for Neurorehabilitation, further deepening her passion for evidence-based care.
Through clinical experiences in both outpatient and hospital settings, Kelsey has worked with individuals of all ages across a wide range of orthopedic, neurologic, and post-operative conditions. She is committed to delivering individualized, research-driven care that empowers patients to move and feel their best.
As a runner herself, she has a strong interest in treating running-related and sports injuries. She understands both the physical and mental challenges of being sidelined from training, and she approaches rehab with the goal of helping athletes return not only pain-free, but with greater efficiency, strength, and confidence.
Outside of the clinic, Kelsey enjoys running, lifting, hiking, traveling, and cheering on her favorite teams: the Steelers, Penguins, and Chelsea FC.
